The skirt was essentially finished apart from the buttons (my modifications) on the front.<br /><br />So with the sound of<a href="http://www.melbournecup.com/"> horses racing</a> their hearts out in the background, I headed for the finish line myself. I actually created my blog way back in about June and have been fiddling with headers and such since then but never actually got around to writing anything.<br /><br />So the time has come to bite the bullet! I found the perfect platform to launch myself from, the thing which I just have to join in with.<br /><br />One of the blogs I read regularly is <a href="http://punkysmamma.blogspot.com/">Punky &amp; Me</a>&nbsp;(among others of course!) and Vic is having a bit of fun over at her blog with <a href="http://punkysmamma.blogspot.com/2011/10/my-place-and-yours.html">My Place &amp; Yours</a>. This week the theme is "My Pin Cushion". Excellent! I thought.
